I purchased 4 of these shirts for my 12 year old growing boy, to wear underneath school uniform shirts but he very much enjoyed the fit and feel of it when worn outdoors for family leisure time, he says it kept him cool and the shirt was long enough that it didn't roll up on him, plus he will still be able to grow into these shirts, arrived very quickly and I'm totally satisfied with pricing, I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Tight fit is correct. It is very tight, but I think it will work for an underlayer.
