This is a repeat order of whistles. Over the years I have given out whistles to my daughter and her friends for their safety. I tell them it is easier to blow the whistle and make a loud noise if you are in danger than trying to yell (we used whistles when we were on the surface of the water when scuba diving as the whistle could be heard easily if we needed help). I had run out of whistles and this latest order came in handy, I just gave out three of them to a young lady at my dry cleaners as she was changing jobs and going to be working as a social worker to help young girls who had been sexually assaulted. I will order these again as they are of good quality and the price is right.

I bought the whistles to give as gifts to my daughter and her friends as a SAFETY Whistle. A simple breath into a Whistle can be heard better and farther than a scream if they are threatened. I recommend that everyone buy them to give to their family and friends.

I must admit that I did zero research into the tone/pitch/volume of this whistle, and when it arrived, I was quite pleasantly surprised. This will definitely turn heads and get attention...plus the matching lanyard is a nice touch.

was able to share with several volunteers - I think it influenced them into coming back again; they really needed better whistles than what they had purchased at WalMart, because Olympia was more expensive than they wanted to pay for a whistle; (they also loved the color choice)

We have 2 indoor fields. On Field 1, we use a PEA whistle, and on Field 2 we use a pea-less whistle. Whistle sounds good, in indoor setting.

Low cost & effective whistle. My first time using a pea-less. If I had to choose I'd probably go back to using a pea whistle over these. Not bad tho. It's just a matter of taste. Once again...INEXPENSIVE!!!

Very good product, small, light and the pitch of the tweet is very high, clear and loud. I have had other pea-less whistle before. However, it was bigger than this one and not as loud.

tested it at my recent U-10 game. Every bit as loud as a fox 40 and has a nice buzz to it. Good buy to use a tournaments cause everyone has a pea whistle or fox 40. You don't always get what you pay for! These whistles were inexpensive (ie. cheap) but are durable and at the price point - are disposable! I purchased these for my own use and for a scout camp's rangemaster program where whistle blasts trigger each activity. The lanyards, the whistles, the selection of colors were much higher quality than the council had purchased previously. Like the Stones sang - You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find - YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED! These are just what we needed and at a great price point.

This is a good whistle. It has a distinctive, deeper tone that is good when you are working games on fields with other games being played concurrently so you sound differently than the other referees.

I find that the tone is very sensitive to air flow and pressure. Many times the blast consists only of the shrillest of tones. The body is much larger than a Fox 40; so, perhaps, more air in general is required. The tone is piercing when delivered effectively.
