The rod for opening the chalk gate goes through lugs on the handle--these were not lined up (welded) on the handle very STRAIGHT, resulting in the rod working hard; also, too much paint on the gate itself--had to hit it up and down with a hammer several times before it even moved, then oiled the hell out of it--it still goes hard, but at least manageable with hand strength! This is why only 3 stars...
