The Shock Doctor 1-2-3 Performance Level System creates outstanding
"shopability." Performance levels (described below) allow the athlete to
quickly identify the correct therapy range and body part while
reinforcing the high performance image of the Shock Doctor brand. Each
level corresponds to a base application of compression and therapeutic
benefit. It begins at level 1, adds increased support and enhanced
features at level 2, and additional stability components and function at
level 3, and technically-based hinged technologies at the Brace level.

Performance Level 1 - Compression-Alignment-Healing
Products focus on healing benefits based on "compression" oriented
designs. These products offer light support for minor pain, sprains, and
strains, allowing for daily use for an extended period of time.
Compression provides soft tissue support, joint alignment, therapeutic
warmth, and blood flow. Additionally, the positive effect of
"proprioception" is achieved - the physiological awareness of stress
identified by the area of support which informs the body that it needs
to maintain this awareness to help prevent further injury.

Performance Level 2 - Support-Compression-Alignment-Healing:
Products utilize all the healing benefits of Level 1 products and offers
products designed to provide the athlete more "support" with moderate
stability features and adjustable compression fit options. These
products are intended for minor to moderate sprains, muscle strains, and
unstable joints, allowing for use as necessary for recovery.

Performance Level 3 - Stability-Support-Compression-Alignment-Healing:
Products benefit the athlete with all the healing and support
characteristics inherent to our Level 2 products but provide "stability"
through more advanced designs and integrated support features. Level 3
products offer medium stability and are targeted for moderate to major
ligament sprains, muscle strains, and unstable joints, allowing for use
as necessary for recovery.

Brace Performance Level - Advanced Hinged-Flex-Stability-Support:
Products benefit the athlete with rigid stability integrated with our
advanced low friction hinge designs. Brace Performance level products
offer superior "stability and support," targeted for major ligament
sprains, muscle strains, and unstable joints, allowing for use as
necessary for both prevention and recovery.
