It is in fact Ultra Light. and it has a big brim to keep the sun off.

I absolutely love my hat. First bucket hat that doesn't fly off my head when I run super fast. I received the order early which I am grateful for due to playing both Saturday and Sunday in 90+ temps. And thank you to whomever packed my order. I will be ordering more of these for my softball team in a couple of weeks.

The hat is super lightweight and we had the Logo stitched on front to support High School. Bought 4 and they worked great for our outdoor track meets which are in sun all day.

My husband asked specifically for a bucket hat. After searching various sites, I found Epic was the cheapest. It came and it was exactly what my husband wanted to protect his head/ears from the sun during softball games. We now are getting it embroidered with our team's logo.

Love this hat, it is lightweight and fits well. It maintains its shape and it washes well. It has a wide brim that covers well and cording that can be adjusted on the back of the cap for smaller head sizes.
