"I "highly" recommend the v-grip bat. Last year I required all my team's players to only use v-grip bats (Little League, 1st year coach pitch, 6 & 7 year olds). We were by far the best hitting team in the league and I believe the v-grip bats were part of the reason. The grip just forces the kids to hold the bat the correct way and allows them to hit the "sweet spot" on the bat. This season, my Little League bought v-grip bats for all instructional teams; $2K worth. We gave each T-ball team a 25" and 26" (5 and 6 year olds). First year coach pitch teams got a 26" and 27" (6 and 7 year olds). The second year coach pitch teams got 27" and 28" (7 and 8 year olds). Even my 10 year old uses a 30" v-grip in "kid pitch" Little League." (E19791)
