They are light and stretchy with wide knitting so they fit my catcher's wide calves and they breathe well. No brand has invented a pitcher's sock yet (hint hint) so we can't go too many games without my pitcher tearing toe holes, but this price is about half the local sports store prices so we buy 4 pairs for the catcher and 20 pairs for the pitcher and they last all year!"
