"Outdoor balls are a challenge for serious basketball players. Rubber balls last the longest outside, but they do not feel, bounce, or play like an indoor ball. The Mikasa BWL110 is a very good hybrid indoor/outdoor ball. It bounces and plays like an indoor ball, but you can use them outdoors.
A couple of caveats, however.
Outdoor use will wear out the ball more quickly. Once used outside, any ball becomes an outside only ball. You may want to consider buying these balls in groups of two or more. The price is right, and you will only pay shipping once, plus you have a spare ball ready to go.
